I was so humbled to be nominated for the BBC Radio Derby's Unsung Hero for the Make a Difference Awards. I was utterly shocked when they announced that You1st Emotional Support were the winners!! Thank you so much to the wonderful Sally Pepper for all the support over the radio and for taking the time to visit me at our food bank.
As you can see from the photo below, I was overcome with emotions. I am so proud of the community we have built and I will be forever grateful to everyone who has supported me and continues to support me and You1st.
Thank you so much to everyone who voted for me. This award means so much tp me and I will cherish this forever!!
